74% of voters have at least heard some things about the train derailment in East Palestine, but 23% haven’t heard much or anything at all.

By a 24-point margin, voters say that private companies are more to blame for the derailment and chemical spill in East Palestine than Pete Buttigieg or federal agencies.
Republican-leaning voters narrowly blame Buttigieg and federal agencies 45-37, while Democratic-leaning voters overwhelmingly blame private companies, 68-13.
In all emergency situations, Republicans are slightly more likely than Democrats to say they would stay at home or only leave if the situation is extreme.
