Republican voters’ confidence in elections running low ahead of 2022 midterms 

  • 6 in 10 voters are at least somewhat confident that the 2020 election was fairly decided, but 70% of Republicans are not so confident.
  • 51% of Republicans and 22% of Democrats say the election will have been rigged if the other party controls Congress after 2022.
  • 2 in 3 Trump-first Republicans say that Democrats will have rigged the 2022 elections if they maintain control of Congress after 2022.
