In this month’s consumer omnibus, we asked adults nationwide about AI, economic strain, self-driving cars, and their upcoming travel plans.
AI is seen as more of an opportunity (45%) than a threat (38%), with 17% unsure.

74% of Americans say they have used AI in the last 12 months. ChatGPT is the most widely used AI platform, with 46% having used it in the last 12 months, followed by Google Gemini (42%).

61% of Americans say the country's economic situation is worsening, but only 39% say the same of their personal economic situation.

When it comes to their own local electrical service, 59% of Americans say an affordable power bill is an important factor, while 52% say no service interruptions. Only 17% selected protection of the local environment.
